New Year, Same Me...Different Direction

When I moved back to the Peoria area in July of 2016, getting back into the workforce felt a bit odd, weird, strange…(fill in the blank with any awkward-themed adjective). After being my own boss and building ONEFIRE from 2012 to 2016, how would I get re-acclimated to a new company, a new role, and even the community?

As I found out in early December after a year and five months, re-acclimation to a new company and new role is apparently a little harder than I imagined as my employer decided to “go in a different direction with their marketing.”
